🍂 A Cozy Cafe Full of Words & Whiskers! 🐱

📋 What is this project?

Some people find spelling practice boring, so they give up, and some spelling apps use American spellings or skip the tricky words used in exams. My idea is Cozy Autumn Cafe, a computer game where you play as a cat who runs a cafe. To gather ingredients like coffee, milk and sugar, you pass spelling quizzes: spelling words from memory, filling in missing letters, and picking the correct spelling. You can type your own words or choose from ready-made lists, from Year 1 phonics to university science words, plus vocabulary for ages 1 to 100. The game uses UK spellings and brings back words you got wrong. I hope it helps children and adults enjoy practising spelling. I'll know it works if players' quiz scores improve and they keep coming back to play.
